The official two-day visit of the Federal Minister of the Interior and Community of the Federal Republic of Germany, Nancy Faeser has been completed.
Nancy Feser, accompanied by her delegation, was escorted from Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Federal Republic of Germany, Levan Izoria.
During the visit, Nancy Faeser held meetings with the Prime-Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri.
During the ministers’ meeting the Agreement on Migration and Mobility was signed between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Agreement aims to bolster collaboration between Georgia and the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of labor migration and education.
At the end of the meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri and Nancy Faeser held a joint briefing, addressing questions from both Georgian and German journalists.
